Woven in 100% silk twill, this fabric carries a soft sheen and a fluid, elegant weight—made more intricate by the Ari technique, a form of chain stitch embroidery practiced for generations in West Bengal. Each panel is embroidered on a frame before the garment is constructed, guided by Ashmat Ali, a seasoned artisan from Kolkata, with over two decades of craft behind him. This slow, deliberate process gives the fabric a pulse that carries into the final form of our designs.
